Clean Ventilating Hoods Frequently - Grease should not be allowed to accumulate on hood or filter. The grease filters should be removed and cleaned once a month with a mild soap. To remove the grease filter and charcoal filter, push the finger grip back and then pull down from the bottom plate. Separate the grease filter from the charcoal filter to clean. Reattach the grease filter to the charcoal filter. Put the grease filter and charcoal filter back to the bottom plate. Charcoal filters are underside of microwave oven. The charcoal filter cannot be cleaned and should be replaced about every 6 months. NOTE: For recirculation: Do not operate the microwave without the filters in place.
